September 17, 2025 – Flowing Along the Boundary

Wednesday brings the moon moving from Cancer to Leo at 1:20AM, not long after midnight. It is also the first day of the balsamic moon phase. We can anticipate the day to be totally Leonian, meaning lightening up and having some fun. It's likely we will have a hard time focusing on chores under this energy so save it for the Virgo window. Now is the time to be creative and childlike. The balsamic phase can be challenging as we forgive and release the last moon phase and begin to dream about the one coming in. This time we are entering a second Virgo cycle, so we are reworking rather than moving forward.

Our aspect of the day is Mercury opposing Saturn Rx at 1:47PM. This is an intensification between our communication or inner psyche and reforming structures. We may feel it as narrow, focused thinking that excludes. Alternatively, with Saturn retrograde, we may not feel this as much. We normally expect delays or limitations in communication or transportation. Be aware of challenges presented to you; this aspect usually only happens once a year so we want to get things as right as possible.
