Friday brings another day of the moon in the new phase and sign of Libra. We do not have any major aspects today, but we may begin to feel the early challenges coming with the crescent phase. There will be perseverance required but it gets us closer to the seed we implemented after the September 2nd, bride with her veil snatched, new moon.
The September new moon phase is part of the balsamic solar cycle. Balsamic is known for being "magical" or being able to make things appear as if out of nowhere. This means we are all being given the alchemical power needed to realize our future.
We also have Saturn, and planets past it, retrograde. When retrograde, we get a feeling of reworking or undoing something that was built, but not in a lasting way. Once we retrograde, then move past a point again, the "lesson" comes in more clearly. When we look at the planets from their essential meanings or psychological function, we see Saturn as contraction; Uranus as revelation; Neptune as dissolution, and Pluto as absolute purity. We can surmise that the goal is likely purity in experience being revealed through contraction and dissolution. I’ll admit that doesn’t sound super fun, but when we get the permission slip that change is afoot, we can know to watch our step.

We aim to mind our manners and avoid crudeness; charm will go much further. Holding oneself as spiritually higher or socially superior to someone may get us elegantly put in our place. The Earth reminds us that everyone gets out of life what they put into it. True success is never overnight, it takes hard work, determination and a drive to discipline oneself. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
