August 24, 2024 - Knowing When to Move

Saturday is the first day of totally Taurus and disseminating moon phase. We are communicating and sharing our seed from the new moon August 4.

We have two easing benefic aspects occurring today. It is a lot of the same energy as Friday with Mercury and Chiron, however today, Mars is mixed in adding energy to the healing expansion going on.

Just after midnight, on the 24th Mercury retrograde (22°Le48’) perfects sextile to Mars (22°Ge48’) at 12:30AM making Saturday a day of practical solutions, technical skills and fast, rapid progress. Since Mercury is retrograde, we may be reworking old projects vs new. Regardless the mental assertiveness is available to be decisive. The symbols of a bareback rider and three fledglings in a nest high in a tree speak to nature and how humans understand or mix with it.

Not long after noon, Mars (23°Ge10’: Children Skating on Ice) makes sextile to Chiron retrograde (23°Ar10’) at 2:33PM. This aspect speaks to taking time to heal rifts and direct energy more positively. We are likely to find love, pain and everything in between. Keep in mind, the path may not be easy, but the rewards will be bountiful. Skating on ice is high risk but certainly exhilarating.

The Sun at a large white cross upraised refers us to having the courage to stand up for beliefs, even when in the minority. We want to remain inspirational but avoid being preachy since our way of life isn’t guaranteed to be more correct or spiritually acceptable. Remember that you are capable of your own choices too, that we don’t have to spend time and energy on causes we don’t whole-heartedly believe in, just to please others. The Earth reminds us that what is a game for some may be life and death for others. Take precautions to protect yourself and avoid unnecessary risks. Timing is everything.
