October 13, 2025 – Changing the Channel

Monday kicks off a busy astrological week before the new moon in Libra next week. The moon remains in Cancer for the entire day and it’s the first day of third quarter moon phase. Cancer will have us emotionally addressing life with a filter of family and home first. Be sure not to be too territorial or emotionally attached to outcomes. Third quarter is here for outward revision and realignment so there may be challenges around these parts of life.

Our astrological events today happen late in the afternoon and kick off with Venus entering Libra at 5:19PM. Any time planets change signs we can feel it. As Venus moves through Libra, we can expect an even stronger need for relationships. Venus is the ruler of Libra, and this is the place it feels most comfortable. Harmony, working with others and creating peace will be staples until November 6. We may not feel the energy for a few more days but know it is here for the taking.

Secondly, Venus opposes Neptune Rx at 9:16PM. Venus newly in Libra is talking to the first of the outer planets at low degrees with Uranus, and Pluto coming tomorrow. With this energy, we may be a bit more impressionable than usual. Today and tomorrow are not good for making lifechanging decisions. Instead, it is a good time to visit an art gallery or watch an inspirational movie that allows you to investigate things which would otherwise cause disharmony in your life if you dove in headfirst.

Finally, Pluto stations direct at 10:54PM. We are thankful for this because Pluto impacts us more than we would like to admit. It has been retrograding in Aquarius and reworking this part of our birth charts. It's unlikely this will impact us immediately, but the delays and reworking are coming to a close on a macro level. It will be nearly astrological year 2026 or mid-March 2026 before we get all the outer planets direct again, but this is the first and probably most important one to shift.
