November 20, 2025 – Pleading Your Case

Thursday brings the new moon in Scorpio at 1:47AM. The symbol being discharged is, “an Indian woman pleading to the chief for the lives of her children.” Since this is a new moon, we are focusing on beginning and intending for the 8 hours following perfection. We will seed intentions during this window so make sure to plant seeds you want vs weeds that cause problems. This symbol speaks to balancing interests and the overall good of a group compared to one's individual needs. During the next 29.5 days, we will be experiencing lessons in speaking for those who have no voice or power. In some cases, we may need someone to speak for us. Regardless, themes of speaking out against injustice and being willing to do what is necessary to protect the interests of everyone involved will be felt. Our challenge will be getting caught up in someone else’s personal war or being used by those who are unwilling to rise and speak for themselves. This being in Scorpio will give us the capacity to go deep and use intuition throughout the coming month.

Secondly, we have the Sun conjunct Mercury Rx at 4:23AM. This is a new beginning around our identity and reforming communication or inner psyche. This can be a tricky time for communicating and writing. We want to be especially clear in our interactions with others today. With Mercury retrograde, there is greater chance of a hiccup.

Next, we have the Moon shifting from Scorpio to Sagittarius at 5:26AM. This will paint most of the day in a fierier manner, however the new moon could hold Scorpio a little longer. It will likely be a mix as we expand our minds and create space for new adventures. We are in a time for broadening horizons so aim high and explore new paths.

Lastly, but not least, Uranus Rx perfects sextile to Neptune Rx at 9:39AM. It is a big deal when outer planets talk to each other. This is unique because both are retrograde. Overall, this can feel like a time of heightened spirituality and creativity. We are leaning into exploring new and exciting opportunities as we spread our wings and fly. This aspect has been with us since July 21 and hangs around until 12/30 due to the retrogrades. If nothing sparks for you today, that’s normal but be aware of this energy in your life.
