November 18, 2025 – Identifying the Shadow

Tuesday brings a full day of the moon in Scorpio and another day of the balsamic moon phase. Scorpio will have us wanting to feel it all and going deep. Balsamic will be expressing, forgiving, releasing and dreaming energy as we near the new moon Thursday.

The first event is the Sun conjunct the Black Moon at 6:34AM. This is a new beginning around our identity and our shadow side. Its likely the last 18ish days have been intense for our self-image. Today, the release is coming and the next 18-27 days will be when the new energy comes in and allows growth. Regardless, we are moving into a new space of heightened awareness, take advantage of this optimistic time with a planet that usually brings challenges.

The main event of today is Mercury entering Scorpio at 10:20PM and is a pretty big deal. Mercury is still retrograde and going backward into Scorpio, reworking this area of our charts. We can expect opportunities to dive into core matters of life. We should use our resources wisely and avoid worrying too much. Communication can be intense so be aware. The way to achieve highest good is through meditation and contemplation.
