Friday starts off with an overnight aspect, the Sun conjunct Mercury at 12:13AM. This is a new beginning around our psyche and our identity. This is an opportunity for realignment, and somewhat common of an aspect since the Sun and Mercury stay within 30 degrees of each other. Thursday and Friday offer an opportunity to assert ourselves with clarity. This is a good time for communicating and catching up on writing. We want to focus on this while the moon is in Cancer as we may have a harder time once it moves to Leo at 4:17PM. Cancer is the slow focus on home and family while Leo is ruled by the Sun and enjoys activity or doing it all. If it doesn’t set in on Friday, the weekend being colored by Leo will have us lightening up and having fun. We will not be inclined to do chores so enjoy life and be creative. The final note is that the moon is now in the crescent phase of persevering and challenges. This means we could be challenged on expressing this Leo energy during this particular moon phase.
