May 24, 2025 – Sea of Change

Saturday begins an intense stretch of astrological events. The first is the lightest and includes the moon moving from Aries to Taurus at 7:44AM. We are likely to find the forgiving, releasing and dreaming easier with Taurus than it was with Aries. Taurus is ruled by Venus and feminine despite its symbol being the bull. This sign is about establishing routines and consolidating existing projects rather than starting new ones, an Aries trait. Our emotional bodies will be shifting to stability and security over the next days as we remind ourselves what is important for us to feel safe in the year ahead.

Our main event is Saturn entering Aries at 11:35PM and spends about 2.5 years in each sign. While it was in Pisces, our focus was more about emotions and finding the balance between feeling too much or not at all. Now that it is in a fire sign, the focus shifts to learning about boldness and lessons about power. We will walk the line between being a showoff or too shy. Since Aries is the cardinal fire sign, we can expect the showoff may have more control. Regardless, we will be resourceful and capable of applying our recently learned emotional lessons in a practical matter. Patience and self-reliance will be necessary, if you don’t already have them, expect a crash course to be starting session. We will have Saturn retrograde later this year and that will pull the planet back into Pisces in early September. Our two aspects are Mercury conjunct Uranus at 7:15PM and the Sun trine Pluto at 11:55PM. Mercury and Uranus are starting a new cycle for our collective and individual consciousness. There is likely to be new inventiveness and experimental attitudes following this beginning. The Sun trine Pluto is our identity powering transformation. With these events and Saturn shifting, we can start to feel the wind filling the sails on our intentions as the new moon in Gemini gets closer.
