Saturday is a big day for us astrologically. The main event is the New Moon in Aries which is also a Partial Solar Eclipse. The New Moon perfects at (9°Ar00') 6:57AM. We round up to the Sabian symbol, “a teacher gives new symbolic forms to traditional images.” The New Moon in Aries is the initiator for astrological year 2025 so we may find ourselves feeling the need to celebrate. We can infer that with this symbol, the year will shift our models of reality and allow us to reinterpret past experiences. We will have the opportunity to see them more clearly as metaphors having deeper meaning than we saw when we were previously absorbed in self-establishment. Our lesson this year will be related to becoming more prepared to contemplate our feelings as symbolic indicators rather than to get caught up in them.
While the moon is busy in the morning, Mercury is busy about bedtime. First, Mercury Retrograde re-enters Pisces at 10:17PM then conjuncts Neptune (29°Pi59’) at 10:46PM. We can expect Mercury in Pisces to improve our intuitive thinking. We are likely focused on daydreaming, fantasy and imagining possibilities. We should take advantage of this time because once the retrograde is over, we will have this aspect again. It first was felt March 5, today, and lastly April 20. We can infer that since there is a new beginning attempting to poke through, however today is not the day to face realities, save that for late April. Lastly, Mercury conjunct Neptune will have our imagination in overdrive. We are likely to appreciate art and subtle areas of life more than normally. Our vision will clear up but right now it is likely the cloudiest and worst time to push for massive changes.
