June 09, 2025 – Manic Monday

Monday brings a pretty busy day astrologically. There are four aspects and two sign changes. The most important event is Jupiter entering Cancer at 5:02PM. As mentioned yesterday, Jupiter is all about expansion. When in Cancer, the shift is toward home and family. This may manifest as a strong urge to look after your loved ones or a more idealistic mentality than usual. We may not feel this initially due to Jupiter being in Cancer for almost the next 365 days. This will be a big deal though, especially with all the other outer planetary sign changes happening this year.

The first event is Mars in Leo trine Eris in Aries at 4:40AM. This can manifest as powering up our energy towards liberation. It can make things difficult in our day to day lives, however, we can be sure this is helping us get to a better path.

Secondly, we have Venus square Pluto retrograde at 1:20PM. This is our relationships or how we choose changing transformation. This can look like intense interactions with others right now. We should be careful not to go overboard in communication. Alternatively, we should not be afraid to express ourselves honestly, then step back and allow others to discover their truth.

We have two aspects with Mercury right before 7PM. Mercury (00°Cn59') square Saturn (00°Ar59') starts things at 6:48PM. About 5 minutes later, Mercury (02°Cn00') square Neptune (02°Ar00') perfects at 6:54PM. The similarities are that Mercury the messenger is involved with these outer planets, and that the aspect is a square which introduces difficult changes. When Mercury and Saturn square, this can be narrow, focused thinking or delays because of overly exacting judgements. Limitations around communication or transportation can impact us. Mercury and Neptune bring intuitive thinking at the high end, and confusion or overstimulated imagination at the lower end. Overall, this is a change around communication that brings structure and creativity.
