July 16, 2025 – Assessing Loyalty

Wednesday is the final day of the disseminating moon phase meaning our communicating and sharing is coming to a close as revisions and realignments manifest over the next few days.  It is likely we have been working with our peers to make sense of what is happening in our lives. Now we are using the information to make decisions that will impact the next new moon phase. Just after midnight, we find the moon moving from Pisces to Aries at 12:32AM. This is a shift from the watery intuitive to the fiery initiator. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and known for wanting to do it on their own. This is the best sign for starting new projects or finding new opportunities. We should be careful to not be overly selfish or impatient. As we mix the moon phase and sign, we get a sense that an assessment is being made of our circumstances, that we are gearing up for action when the new moon in Leo perfects next week.

The Sun and Earth are available to help us find our natural pull for the day as well as how to release the pressure if it gets too intense. The Sun is discharging, “a dark shadow or mantle of power thrown suddenly over the right shoulder,” and the Earth, “an Oriental rug dealer.” We can infer that our identity is being pulled toward responsibility or leadership, whether we are ready or not. We will be wise to remember what goes around, comes around and treat others like we want to be treated. With the Earth, the accent will be on practical or business-related activity. Putting these two together, we can see that we may be pulled towards leadership or having answers for everyone. If we get overwhelmed, we can remember to do what we said we would. This is a time when living a double life or compromising your integrity will have lasting consequences.
