Friday is one of the biggest days of the year. We have aspects, sign changes and America’s birthday. In the Tzolkin it is 6 Flint, 6 means transformation and flint represents catalysts, defense and reality.

The first event is the moon moving from Libra to Scorpio at 5:33AM. When here, our emotional bodies are pulled towards the deeper things in life. We have improved intuition and may push so hard we initiate conflict so be conscious. We have another day of stepping out and taking action as the moon progresses through the First Quarter phase.

Not long after the moon changes signs, 8:45AM, the conjunction between Venus and Uranus perfects. The new beginning is at the last minutes and degree of Taurus which indicates there is some lesson culminating around our values and universal consciousness. Under this energy we are likely feeling excited. We can expect our path to be unpredictable right now so go with the flow. An exciting creative person or project suddenly comes into your life. This opportunistic event rarely happens more than once a year so take advantage of this energy. It began late July 2 and goes till late July 5.

Since the conjunction with Uranus was at the last degree of Taurus, we find Venus entering Gemini at 11:31AM. Venus feels most comfortable in Taurus and is a bit indifferent to Gemini so its unlikely this will be felt immediately. More likely, we will begin to be pulled towards more intellectual relationships that allow for exchange of ideas. We may be pulled towards money generating ideas as well.

Lastly, Neptune stations retrograde at 5:34PM. This is another big deal by itself, because any time a planet goes retrograde, we can feel it. When it is an outer planet, we can experience mixed results. If it is activating our chart, the energy is strong, if not, it can almost feel like nothing is happening. The degree Neptune touches when it changes direction relates to the relationship between a man and his country. Given today is Independence Day in the USA, this is interesting. What lessons may come up for us during this retrograde phase that give us a new perspective about our values and creativity?
