Thursday brings one of the heaviest astrological days in months. The main actors in play are Mars and Mercury. Our only consistency is the moon staying in Scorpio and Third Quarter phase all day. As a reminder, Scorpio moon phase will have us diving deep into subjects and third quarter pushes us to revise and realign our plans.
The events kick off with Mars Rx (23°Cn16’) sextile Uranus Rx (23°Ta16’) at 10:08AM. This will carry a different flavor due to both these planets being retrograde. At its basic level, this is our reforming energy easing the reforming universal change. We may feel it as, “seeing the light” at last. We are able to break through obstacles in innovative ways and fill the role of a dynamic leader. We will have this aspect again in April when Mars and Uranus are direct meaning, the events of today may be reworked. Mars’ second independent aspect is Mars Rx (23°Cn07’) square the Black Moon (23°Li07’) at 8:38PM. This is our reforming energy changing our shadow side and with squares, they are rarely comfortable. Given the other energy of today, we may find that this shift is needed and supported by our communication and the accompanying aspects.
Our second main actor is Mercury and its aspects begin at 2:14PM with Mercury (23°Cp05’) square the Black Moon (23°Li05’). We can infer that our communication or inner psyche is changing our shadow side. This is good given the Mars/Black Moon aspect later in the day. The next Mercury aspect includes Mercury (23°Cp11’) opposite Mars Rx (23°Cn11’) at 3:48PM. It only makes sense these two would aspect given all the other activity surrounding them today. Mars and Mercury being inner planets rarely oppose each other so this is a definite signal. The energy can be difficult, especially with Mars retrograde. Regardless we can expect impulsive reactions and fast pace. There may be trouble with mechanical breakdowns and communication. We may have an important message through the intensity.
Our last aspect is, Mercury (23°Cp16’) trine Uranus Rx (23°Ta16’) at 5:07PM. This is our communication powering reforming change and a positive aspect. We will likely find an intensification of the mind. We may find ourselves expressing radical or unusual viewpoints.
