January 06, 2026 – Focusing Attention

Tuesday both of our events happen around lunch time. The first is the Sun conjunct Venus at 11:36AM. This is a new beginning between our identity and our relationships or how we choose what we like. This event has been with us since last Wednesday and hangs around until next Monday. These inner planets touching makes for an important event in all of our lives. It can make for a fortunate time in love and affection. We are able to make the most of this time for enjoying the time of our nearest and dearest. This event is happening in Capricorn which is about structure and doing things for others. In some ways we are learning what we need to do for ourselves and what we may need partners, friends and allies for.

Just after noon, the moon moves from Leo to Virgo, at 12:01PM. This is also the first day of the disseminating moon phase. Leo will likely have some flavor in the day but returning to chores and fixing things for ourselves and others is likely coming into focus. Virgo is earthy, grounded and feminine. Take time to focus on the important details instead of bouncing from one thing to another. Virgo is ruled by Mercury so communications will definitely be important since communicating and sharing are hallmarks of the disseminating phase.
