After a tough start to the week, we get a bit of slow down as there are no major aspects happening today. We have the moon staying in the sign of Taurus for the entire day but see our first glimpse of this lunar cycle’s First Quarter phase. We know it as the outward shift toward taking action and stepping out. Taurus will have us taking this adventure with the steady, pragmatic and grounded layers. We are cautioned against being too stubborn or possessive.
Today, the Sun is discharging, “a watchdog standing guard, and the Earth, “a nonvested church choir.” For this energy, our identity is triggered by the watchdog and our grounding or realism comes in the church choir mentality. The watchdog points to vigilance and that we need to be on guard about something. There is a possibility you will need to defend what you value. We succeed by knowing our rights and picking up on when they are being infringed on. Our challenge lies in knowing the difference between being overly suspicious and letting a fox in the henhouse. It is likely we will find our answers by looking at the Earth and the nonvested church choir. The accent is on fellowship and sense of community or a “want” to be part of the group. The advantage lies in respecting and appreciating differences (vs imagining the watchdog growling.) We are reminded not to be too loud or make ourselves stand out, because it may present an outcome we didn’t want. Today especially, we aim to praise others for their achievements, knowing our day in the sun will come.
