December 21, 2025 – Simple Man

Sunday isn’t much less exciting than Saturday, especially since some of those aspects carry into today. Today is the last complete day of Capricorn moon energy but second to last day of new phase beginning and intending. As a reminder, Capricorn is helping us consolidate and pay attention to the foundations of life. We are thinking about things and making plans but now is not the time to act.

Our first event happens on Saturday in some places as Venus perfects square to Saturn, and is one of the biggest events this weekend, at 12:09AM. We may find ourselves alone and reassessing some of the more serious relationships in our life. These could be friendships or romantic relationships. Now that Saturn is off its retrograde and with the New Moon energy, we are finalizing these decisions and working toward dissolution and finding balance or center.

The second event is Jupiter Rx square Chiron Rx at 5:08AM. This is a hard change between reforming expansion and reforming wounding, healing, and teaching. Since both these planets are retrograde, we may have a mixed bag of energy. Traditionally, this is time for a profound healing moment in our lives. This is a time for getting wisdom, regardless of if it is painful or happy. This is bringing back up events from October 20-31 and hanging with us until Dec 25. The overall energy can bring up memories or dreams that help us find insight, similar to the aspect less than 12 hours before with the Sun and Neptune.

Lastly, we have the Sun entering Capricorn at 10:03PM. Any time a planet enters a new sign it is a big deal but the Sun impacts our identity and can really change the lens we look at life through. With the Sun in Capricorn, we are finding the next 30 days focused on structure. This can look like stabilizing our lives and building foundations. This is a period when its easier to achieve results and command respect. Just don’t be so confident it becomes a negative. This energy may not be impacting you until Monday or Tuesday depending on your birth chart. The Sun and Moon will both be in Capricorn for about 12 hours so this period could be especially important for seeding dreams and revelations.
