Friday brings the new moon late in the day and even a shift from Sagittarius to Capricorn at 11:53PM. With the New Moon, we will focus on the Capricorn energy tomorrow since it won't likely impact today. The main event of the day is the New Moon in Sagittarius at 8:43PM. New moon energy brings beginnings and intentions. It adds a fiery initiator type energy regardless of what sign it is in. Sometimes the fire is put out by water, but this New Moon is in a fire sign. This New Moon is bringing an energy of communicating and sharing based on the Sun’s cycle. We have this new energy with us until Monday, but we still need to seed our intentions in the 12 hours after the perfection or 8:34AM in EST.

This particular New Moon is at the symbol, “a fat boy mowing the lawn.” This month we can expect lessons in effort and putting in the work to show our words and actions align. We may see that a desire to belong or have relationships, eventually triumphs over more primitive urges. We may develop a real plan of action and get ourselves in shape, mentally, physically and/or emotionally. It's likely we will find our time spent proving we have what it takes to be where we are in some way, depending in what house this New Moon perfects in your chart. At the lower end we may find ourselves doing busy work just for social acceptance. Be aware of where this may be happening and whether you are balancing the give and take of relationships in your life. Remember, the 5 people you talk to most have the greatest impact on who you are. Make sure they are people who actually push you to be better rather than pull you down.
