December 16, 2025 – Engaging Identity

Tuesday is another full day of the moon in Scorpio and balsamic moon phase. Emotions will run high and we are likely moving further along the path of forgiving, releasing and dreaming. We also have the balsamic energy for Wednesday and Thursday. Also relating to the moon, today is a Black Moon Day meaning a day when the Earth’s moon is in relatively the same place as the Black Moon, really activating our shadow sides. We should be careful of issues around death; beginnings and endings or winning and losing rather than physical death. Do not let fear of loss stop your life from progressing.

Our two aspects today include the Sun and kick off with the Sun trine Eris at 4:49AM. This is a powering between our identity and liberation via discord. There has and is a lot of transformation happening right now and this is just another marker to confirm the same. This rotation is nearing its end so we are feeling the maturity of this relationship rather than the new, youthful side.

The final event and possibly most impactful is the Sun square Saturn at 11:34PM and will definitely impact us. This is a hard change between our identity and structure. What else is new? As mentioned with the earlier aspect with Eris, we are advancing but this aspect is asking us to slow down. We have best success by patiently tackling obstacles and making tough decisions rather than rushing. Marking a task off the to-do list vs doing it right are important to know the difference between under this energy.
