December 11, 2025 – Laughing to the Bank

Thursday is another busy day astrologically. Today is the only full day this cycle when the moon is in Virgo. This means focus on stability, fixing things and attending to details. Chores and scheduling appointments for our health and wellness are likely to go easier than they would other days. Today is also the first day of the third quarter moon phase of revision and realignment. Third quarter and Virgo energy work well together. We aim to avoid being too task oriented and remember to think about how our decisions will impact others.

Just after midnight we have Venus square the North Node, at 12:42AM. This aspect is a hard change between our relationships or how we discriminate and destiny and/or difficulty. Under this energy we may need to stop and take a look around. See who is supporting you and who is absent. The answer to this question will help point you in the right direction. Venus is catching the North Node, so this is like a revision and realignment period regarding these planets and the people, places and things they rule.

Our second event is Mercury trine Neptune at 5:19AM. This is a powering between our inner psyche or how we communicate and creativity or dissolution of ego. Its likely we feel an improved imagination or intuitive thinking. Our attention may be pulled toward art and subtle areas of life. Mercury likes to go fast but with this aspect we succeed by slowing down and easing through the energy. This is Mercury’s last aspect before a sign change later today.

Third, we have the Black Moon moving to 29°Scorpio at 4:55PM. The new symbol being discharged is, “children in Halloween costumes indulging in various pranks.” Since were discussing the Black Moon, this is activating our shadow sides around this imagery. We are likely getting lessons in ridiculing or making fun of others. It's likely we get tested in laughing at or with someone, the difference is a fine line so make sure you know where it is. Be aware of someone, maybe even us, trying to hide the truth or using sleight of hand to divert attention from the real issue at hand. We succeed by keeping your sense of humor and relaxing rules where they may be holding back nature.

Finally, we have Mercury entering Sagittarius at 5:40PM. This is shifting our inner psyche or communication to a phase of seeking knowledge to expand. Exploration of speech and thought will have our attention. We are likely to be drawn to information which helps us see the big picture.
