August 19, 2025 – Healing Wounds

Tuesday is the first day of the balsamic moon phase and a complete day with the moon in Cancer. Balsamic phase is known for forgiving, releasing and dreaming. We will have most energy from the New Moon in Leo but some of the new moon in Virgo may start to poke through. This is the period of old age and wisdom, knowing what you would have done differently and then implementing those changes for future cycles. With the moon in Cancer, we are getting extra support in nurturing ourselves and loved ones. This is a day for focus on home and family.

Our only major perfecting aspect is the Sun trine Chiron Rx at 1:30PM. This is a powering between our identity and wounding, healing and teaching. Under this energy it is likely to feel like a spiritual awakening is happening right now. Take note of your dreams and innermost thoughts. You may even notice a renewed sense of purpose. We have had this aspect in August and December since 2022. There is a place in each of our lives being reworked yearly. Chiron is in Aries and has been since 2019 bringing us wounding, healing and teaching around doing things on our own. We are having to learn how to ask for help completing projects rather than shifting to something new.  We are getting lessons in being daring and adventurous as well, every day is different so make the most of each one.
