Saturday the moon moves from Taurus to Gemini around lunchtime, at 12:01PM. We are leaving behind the sign that wants to “have it all” to the sign that has ideas or thoughts about everything. New ideas will be communicated with ease. This is a period to make the most of opportunities in nature and try not to fight with yourself. The moon kicks off the third quarter phase today as well. This is the period of revision and realignment regarding our seed from the Leo new moon. Its likely we have been seeing the cracks or issues in our lives. On at least an emotional level, we are getting the opportunity to work through the challenges. Some periods are about sitting through the storm but we can feel good about getting to work on what has been negatively impacting us.

We can look to the Sun and Earth for insight since there are no major perfecting aspects. The Sun is discharging. “an untidy, unkempt man” and the Earth, “a man turning his back on his passions teaches deep wisdom from his experience.” The Sun symbol in long form is, “totally concentrated on inner spiritual attainment, a man is sitting in a state of complete neglect of his body.” We can infer that the Sun is telling us to ignore outer appearances and turn the focus inward. It is likely we will have energy to get the job done without worrying about what other people think. At the low end, we can jeopardize our health by pushing beyond our limits or forgetting basic needs. The Earth points to enlightenment and sharing the fruit of our experience with those who show an interest in hearing. As long as we are careful not to try and convince others that their beliefs are inferior or wrong, the day has potential to put us on the best path.
