Monday, we experience another dose of similar energy to yesterday with the moon in the sign of Sagittarius and First Quarter phase all day. Sagittarius is a masculine fire sign known for wanting to experience everything. We will likely find our emotional bodies feeling curious and optimistic. On the lower end, the sign is ruled by Jupiter and can expand our restlessness or angst about situations as well. We are in the final day of the first quarter phase of stepping out and taking action.

We can look to the Sun discharging, “an old sea captain rocking,” to see where our identity will be pulled and the Earth at, ”a barometer” for insight about how we stay grounded if our identity puts us in an uncomfortable situation. The Sun and sea captain speak to living in the past mentally. At its highest, this is the ability to draw on whatever skills or resources were developed in the past. At its lowest, this can be being completely out of touch with the realities of the present by living in the past. You may be surprised when looking back on some event in your life that you see differently now. Do not be afraid to adapt or learn new skills if a situation calls for it. The Earth and a barometer remind us of the value in gathering information or analyzing it in terms of how it best fits patterns you are familiar with. If you get in over your head, don’t be afraid to consult an expert. Today may require a leap of faith to avoid getting stuck rocking on a porch. Do your best to make calculations but don’t miss your boat.
