April 9, 2025 – Helping Ourselves While Helping Others

We are getting a chance to break in the gibbous phase energy on Wednesday as we trust in the processes enacted Saturday March 29. Now we are in the sign of Virgo and it is time for serving ourselves and others while being analytical about what is most effective. We want to aim for ideals and perfection rather than settling for what is given to us easily. While trusting in the gibbous energy, we are working toward goals. Don’t be disappointed if these dreams are reformed in the Taurus new moon cycle. It will likely be frustrating but the retrograde motion and shadows covering this time make it unlikely we are anything more than passengers in the car.

We can look to the Sun at, “a young girl feeding birds in winter,” and the Earth at, “a Jewish rabbi” for insight about when to make sure we have our seatbelts on or may be going on a rough ride. The young girl speaks to assisting others. We may find the needs of others taking high priority at this time. It may be possible that we are even more sympathetic or generous than usual. We should be on guard against getting talked into something because we hate to say no or are afraid of someone getting mad at us for refusing. It is likely our lesson will be in finding the balance between helping and interfering. Ideally, we will find our grounding with the Rabbi, who we can infer has been involved with the helping/interfering process his entire career. He or she knows that we cannot always feed the birds, sometimes we have to teach others how to fend for themselves. We can expect prayer and meditation to have better results than usual, when it’s in conjunction with hands-on help, we can expect marvelous results.
