Saturday is our second day of the moon in Cancer and the first day of the First Quarter moon phase. We don’t have any major aspects perfecting today. While in the Cancer moon phase, we are concentrating on our home and family. We are likely to find our calendar full of activities that nurture yourself and loved ones. We know that the first quarter phase is about outwardly stepping out and taking action regarding our seed planted with the new moon in Aries. While in the Crescent phase, we were able to be tested, and our intentions were clarified to include more specificity. Now, we are in the period of implementing these improvements before we reach the full moon phase of clarity and revelation regarding our work. We will be stepping out and taking action until Tuesday, then trusting in the process until the full moon April 12.

With no perfecting aspects, we look to the Sun and Earth for insight. The Sun is discharging, “brownies (fairies) dancing in the setting sun,” and the Earth, “a boat landing washed away.” These symbols allude to our identity focusing on recognizing cycles, and when they have ended. Our lesson will be in being able to release, let go and move on. We may find ourselves pulled to nature or natural remedies. Our caution is against getting stuck in old ways of doing things or refusing to accept change. This symbol alludes to a bittersweet blend of closing the door on the past and excitement of new activities and the future. It may be a day where it feels like time is standing still. We remain grounded with the Earth and boat landing washed away. This symbol speaks to feeling cut off from things or finding alternative solutions. The higher octave is accepting loss as a sign it is time to change or seeing them as a door opening to new opportunities. We succeed by remembering obstacles and loss aren’t always bad omens or God’s punishment, they may simply be lessons in picking ourselves back up and not quitting.
